The Wonderware Allen-Bradley Serial I/O Server (formerly called the ABKF2) is available as a FS1K style 16-bit application running under Microsoft Windows for Workgroups and Windows 95. There is also a FS2K style 32-bit version available for running under Windows NT Workstation v4.0. Either provides other Windows programs access to data from Allen-Bradley PLCs via RS-232 or indirectly (using the Data Highway, Data Highway Plus, or DH485 with the appropriate Allen-Bradley communications interface). While our I/O Servers are primarily intended for use with Wonderware's FactorySuite products, they may be used by any Microsoft Windows application program capable of acting as a DDE client.
